KOHLER LuxStone Walk-In Showers
A KOHLER LuxStone shower starts with the wall panels. LuxStone is a composite of crushed stone and high-performance resin: hard enough to resist the surface wear that dulls acrylic and fiberglass over time, and nonporous by composition so it never needs sealing or re-grouting. Panels are fabricated to fit your shower's specific dimensions and installed with a hidden joint system, leaving no grout lines anywhere on the wall surface. The day-to-day reality is a shower that wipes clean easily and keeps looking the way it did when it was installed.
The walls are one part of a fully coordinated system. LuxStone bases are made from the same stone-resin composite and come in several sizes and entry profiles, including barrier-free configurations for step-free access. Shower doors and enclosures are available from framed through fully frameless, selected during the consultation to work with the wall design and hardware finish you choose. The system also accommodates built-in recessed shelving, a wall-mounted fold-down seat, and a shower barre for stability. KOHLER fixtures are chosen as part of the same consultation.
LuxStone Design Options
Ten wall designs are available, spanning stone-look patterns, flat colors, and textured finishes.
- Calacatta Gold: Italian marble-inspired warm white with gold veining. A recent addition to the lineup.
- Statuary: White with soft grey veining. More restrained than Calacatta Gold. Also newly added.
- Calacatta Crema: Ivory base with warm, subtle movement throughout.
- Cintilante Bluette: White ground with a soft blue-grey pattern. The most distinctive design in the collection.
- Ice Grey: Solid cool grey, no pattern. A natural fit for contemporary or minimalist interiors.
- White: Flat bright white with no pattern. Works in virtually any bathroom.
- Biscuit: A warm off-white that pairs well with bronze or brushed nickel hardware.
- VeinCut Dune: Warm beige with horizontal linear movement suggesting cut stone.
- CrossCut Dune: The same warm beige palette as VeinCut with a more varied, multidirectional pattern.
- White Brick: A clean white subway grid in the familiar format, without any of the grout upkeep actual tile requires.
Matte finishes are more forgiving of water spots and fingerprints in daily use. Glossy finishes add reflectivity that can open up a smaller bathroom and give stone-look patterns more presence.
Hardware finish selection, whether chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, or warm bronze, is worked out during the design consultation alongside everything else.
KOHLER Walk-In Bath
The KOHLER walk-in bath changes what getting into and out of the bathtub requires. The side door opens to a low step-in threshold rather than the tall sidewall of a conventional tub, and once you're seated the door seals before the bath fills. Heated seating, hydrotherapy jets, and a slip-resistant floor are standard across every unit, making bathing feel like something worth doing rather than something to get through.
For Delaware homeowners who intend to stay in their homes for the long haul, the walk-in bath is a practical investment in daily comfort and safety that doesn't require rethinking the bathroom's layout. It goes in where your existing tub is, uses your existing plumbing connections, and is typically installed in a day or two. With KOHLER's engineering behind it, accessible design and a refined bathing experience come as a package.
Tub-to-Shower Conversion
A bathtub that isn't being used is just taking up space. A tub-to-KOHLER-shower conversion puts that footprint to work as a walk-in shower without moving the drain or touching the walls beyond what the installation requires. The finished shower is a complete LuxStone system: wall panels in the design and finish you select, a coordinated base, glass enclosure, and fixtures. Most conversions are finished in one to two days.
Standard Bathtub and Shower Replacements
A full reconfiguration isn't always the goal. When a bathtub or shower just needs to be replaced in kind, same footprint, same function, better product, Renuity fabricates a new KOHLER unit to your bathroom's exact dimensions and installs it without relocating plumbing or modifying the surrounding space. Most bathtub replacements are complete in a single day, and the results carry the a warranty on materials on labor.
